Our Miss 13 had her birthday party towards the end of February. She chose the local waterslide for a bit of fun. I thought I'd have a go at putting some 'girly' party bags together for them.
Here they are laid out on the table with a few goodies to pop in...shower caps, bath scrubs, tissues, elastics, mini nail files, some funky highlighters and pens from Officeworks and of course a couple of lollies.
We were very blessed with a gorgeous afternoon.
I even had a few goes down the slide.....to help my younger two cherubs, of course! All the high school memories came flooding back, lol.....
I had a go at a different recipe for a mudcake I found on bestrecipes.com here. So delish....definitely will make this one again. I cheated on the decorations due to a very full weekend. So Betty Crocker to the rescue with her yummo

here. There are many different versions of this, but this worked for our family this year. It was fun going through this and learning together each day.
Over the Easter weekend I finally pulled out the few rows I had sewn for the quilts for my two boys. They are growing up fast and soon won't want prints of motorbikes, planes and trains on their bed!
Sorry about the blurry photos....in a hurry....but you get the idea.
